Artwork of the Month

Exciting news! The Saddleback Art League has created a new monthly art contest. Members will have a chance to win the honor of Artwork of the Month. Starting at our January 2020 meeting, members may bring in one piece of art to enter into the contest. Please bring your artwork to the monthly demo meeting no later than 6:15pm so that we can start the meeting on time. At our break all the members can vote for their favorite. At the end of the meeting we will announce the winner and a picture of the artwork and the artist will be taken to appear on our website for a month.

Contest Rules

• A person must be a member of SAL in order to enter and to vote
• A member may vote only once for their favorite work of art
• The artwork may be in any medium
• The artwork must be original and created within the past two years
• The artwork may only be submitted once
• Canvases may be shown without a frame if they are painted on all sides
• The artwork must be of such a nature as to not be offensive
• Contest entries will be on a first come first served basis
• Space is limited so artwork may be turned away if tables become full
• Enforcement of the rules is at the discretion of the SAL Board
